The Beitbridge Eagles made a thunderous return to the 2025 Matabeleland South Volleyball Association (MSVA) League, clinching the second round of the tournament held in Gwanda with a flawless performance.
Despite missing the first round in Plumtree — a setback that saw them lagging behind in the early log standings — the Eagles came back with a vengeance, sweeping all their matches with commanding 2-0 victories. Their dominant display in Gwanda earned them the maximum 6 points and re-established them as serious contenders for the title. Plumtree, who hosted and won the first round of the league, continued to show consistency, beating Gwanda Spikers 2-0 to claim second spot in the Gwanda leg and collecting 5 points. Gwanda Spikers, who put up a spirited fight throughout the tournament, settled for third with 4 points, followed by Jessie Mine (3 points), Colleen Bawn (2 points), and Gwanda State University, who failed to attend and therefore earned no points.
