Beitbridge Eagles (Men & Women). The men’s team are the defending MSVA League Champions, having won the 2022 edition and defended it in 2023. The men’s team has stood out as a shining beacon for the province, actively engaging in the Zimbabwe Premier Volleyball League. The women’s team has participated in various tournaments in 2024.
Colleen Bawn (Men). Colleen Bawn has consistently served as a development hub for high school players, forming a blend of experienced senior players who have graduated from Colleen Bawn High School and younger juniors who are still attending school. Their best finish was second in the 2018 MSVA Leagues.
GSU Cavaliers (Men & Women). The Gwanda State University Cavaliers, a university-based club, officially joined MSVA in 2019. Since then, the men’s team has been on a continuous upward trajectory, achieving notable success by securing second position in the 2023 MSVA League. Their women’s team won the 2022 MSVA League.
Mangavha (Men). Mangavha, a club from Mangavha township in Beitbridge, registered with the MSVA in 2022. They achieved fourth in the 2023 MSVA League.
Mtshabezi (Men). The Mtshabezi Hospital team officially joined the MSVA in 2023, signaling their entry into the volleyball scene. With their recent registration, they appear poised to make a significant impact and potentially dominate the volleyball sphere in the years to come.
Filabusi Pirates (Men). Founded by staff members from Gwanda State University and the National University of Science and Technology, Filabusi Pirates comprises veteran players who continue to appreciate and engage in volleyball. The team actively participated in the 2022 MSVA League; however, they opted not to register for the 2023 edition. Their most recent involvement took place in the 2023 Opening tournament.
Jessie Mine (Men). Jessie Mine played a pioneering role in the establishment of the MSVA League in 2014, achieving their best finish by securing fourth place in the 2015 MSVA League. Notably, they did not take part in the 2023 MSVA League; their most recent involvement was in the 2023 Mid-season tournament.
Wolves (Men). Wolves, initially established as a junior spin-off from Izihlobo, officially joined the MSVA in 2019. Their debut season proved highly successful as they emerged victorious in the 2019 MSVA League. However, Wolves opted not to register for the 2023 MSVA League. Their most recent participation was in the 2023 Opening tournament, where they reached the final but faced a loss in that decisive match.
ZRP Gwanda (Men & Women). ZRP Gwanda played a pioneering role in the establishment of the MSVA League in 2014. Their women’s team achieved success by winning the 2015 MSVA League, while the men’s team recorded their all-time best finish by achieving second in the inaugural 2014 MSVA League. Despite their previous participation in the 2023 Opening tournament, ZRP Gwanda did not take part in the 2023 MSVA League.
