Lycans dominates women’s Opening tournament

In the latest season-opening tournament, the Lycans once again demonstrated their dominance over teams hailing from Matabeleland South. The women’s category of the competition unfolded in a round-robin format, featuring formidable contenders such as the eventual champions, the Lycans, alongside Beitbridge Eagles, Singwango, and ZRP Angels.

A standout figure throughout the tournament was Kelly Nsingo, whose stellar performances left a trail of destruction in her wake. Nsingo showcased her prowess both in serving and attacking, leaving opposing teams struggling to find a solution to counter her relentless onslaught. At times, it appeared as though no opposition could contain her formidable skills.

Despite facing some challenges, the Lycans maintained an impressive record throughout the tournament, losing only a single set in their encounter against the Angels. Nonetheless, they emerged victorious with two sets to one triumph. In their clashes against Singwango and Beitbridge Eagles, the Lycans asserted their dominance, securing comprehensive victories with two sets to love in each match.
